Hi, I’m Cat Fimple—though many know me as Sin City Kitty.
I’m a whip artist, designer, and performer based in Las Vegas. I started making whips in 2020 as a quarantine hobby, inspired by my lifelong love of Indiana Jones and Catwoman. At the time, I couldn’t find a whip I liked—so I decided to make one myself. With the help of tutorials by Nick Schrader (who is now a great friend and mentor), I taught myself the craft and developed my own signature style, including the Ombre whip, a faded design that eliminates the need for a ring knot (because I seriously dislike tying them).
Since then, I’ve built custom whips for fellow enthusiasts, flow artists, martial artists, and stage performers all over the world. In 2023, I earned second place at the Los Angeles Whip Convention’s Synthetic Whip making Competition, just behind Nick. I’ve trained with whip legends Anthony and Mary DeLongis, and I’ve also studied fire and flow arts with Fearless Fire, Phoenix Fireflow, and Flowmayhem. I love combining moves from different disciplines to create new and exciting acts.
Outside the workshop, I bring whips to the stage as a performer and teacher. I was part of the inaugural Sin City Burlesque Festival and love incorporating whip artistry into variety shows. I also teach private whip lessons and give live demonstrations, sharing my energy, passion, and a bit of sass with anyone ready to learn.
Whip artistry is traditionally a male-dominated space, and I’m proud to offer a woman’s perspective—especially to those who’ve never seen themselves represented in this kind of work.
If you're looking for a custom whip, a live performer, or a passionate instructor who’s as skilled as she is sarcastic—
I’ve got you covered.
